Your Librarian

My name is Cindy Darcy. I am the School Library Media Specialist here at Pawling Elementary School. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History and Secondary  Education and a Master's Degree in School Library Media Information Science. Our library has experienced a renaissance over the last seven years that included not only the creation of a brand new learning space but a carefully curated new collection of books. I feel a responsibility to not only nurture a love for reading in our young students but also to prepare them to practice good Digital Citizenship.

I am married with two daughters, ages 11 and 15. My family also includes two nutty English Springer Spaniels named Henry and Beau.  We love to go geocaching and hiking with the pups. We also enjoy visiting family in Naples, Florida every summer.

Ebooks can be accessed using the Overdrive Icon from the Library’s Homepage.
