    Dear Pawling Community,

    Please join the Board of Education and me in welcoming Dr. Elizabeth Kennedy as our newly appointed Superintendent of Schools. Most recently serving as an Assistant Superintendent of Pupil Personnel Services for Carmel Central School District, she brings a deep-rooted commitment to ensuring every student has the support and resources necessary to thrive in and out of the classroom.

    Dr. Kennedy will begin work in her new role in July, and opportunities to meet her will be announced in upcoming communications. We are thrilled to welcome her as a dedicated, student-centered leader who will play a key role in the continued progress of the Pawling schools.

WELCOME TO THE PAWLING CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT!

Dear Students, Parents, Staff and Community Members,

Welcome to the Pawling Central School District! Here at Pawling we are committed to promoting an inclusive and engaging learning environment for all students, each day, as one Pawling Tiger family. As Interim Superintendent, it is my honor to lead a district that prioritizes academic excellence, innovation and the overall social emotional well-being of all learners.

Pawling has a dedicated team of educators and staff that work collaboratively to inspire lifelong learners and responsible citizens. As we get ready for the 2025-26 school year, we are excited about the opportunities in deepening our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to ensure that every student academically, socially and emotionally receives the support they need to thrive. From high quality core instruction to timely interventions, our teams are working to strengthen our MTSS program to meet students where they are to help them soar. In addition, we will be working on strengthening community engagement. We will be creating more opportunities for meaningful dialogue, collaboration and involvement in shaping our schools. This year's plans include hosting community workshops, enhancing communication tools and focusing on building trust and partnerships throughout the community.

I encourage you to stay connected with our District through this website, social media and via Parent Square: our new communication platform. Throughout the year, I also encourage you to attend school events and district activities. In addition to our athletic contests, concerts, drama productions and art shows, we hold regular Board of Education meetings to provide updates on our Board goals and district programs. Your involvement is essential to the success of our schools, and we look forward to working together to create an outstanding educational experience for all students.
