Managing School Notifications
Pawling CSD uses ParentSquare for school-to-home communications. We are using ParentSquare to send important district information, including alerts for school closings and delays. The District, schools, and teachers can use ParentSquare to send posts, direct messages, pictures, files, and permission slips.
District, school, and classroom information will be sent to your computer or phone via email and text. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app to receive app notifications.

To access these resources, please log in to ParentSquare
- Manage Your Account Settings
- Change your notification settings for posts (receive all posts instantly or receive all posts for the day in a single digest) Note: All closing/delay or emergency notifications will be sent instantly.
- Spend 15 - 20 minutes to complete the Parent 101 Class! It will walk you through the App Setup and will provide a great overview of ParentSquare!

Register for the ParentSquare App! Here's how!
- The ParentSquare app is available in both iOS or Android stores. Downloading the mobile app is the easiest way to receive all Posts, Events, sign-up requests, photos and files.
- Enter your ParentPortal (Parents) or Pawling employee email address and click "Get Started"
- Follow the prompts
You can also register for ParentSquare on your computer by going to Parentsquare Website, clicking Sign In, and then registering as outlined above. 

Community Members Can Join ParentSquare to Receive District Messages
Community groups are for members of the community who do not have students active in the district, but would still like to receive district notifications.
*Current staff and parents/guardians will automatically receive these notifications and do not need to sign up for community groups.
PCSD Closing/Delay Notifications
This group is for Pawling community members and business owners who would like to be notified when Pawling CSD has a closing, early dismissal or delay due to inclement weather. Current staff and parents/guardians do NOT need to sign up for this group. The District sends closing and delay notifications at approximately 5:00 AM.

- Enter your full name, email address, and cell phone number.
- Select the desired group(s) by clicking the box(es),
- Click Submit.
- You will receive an activation email to complete your registration. Click Activate your account.
