For returning athletes, parents can simply login to their existing account and register for their fall sport for 2026. If you have any difficulty please contact: CONTACT US! support@arbitersports.com | 800-311-4060.

ARBITERSPORTS aka FamilyID.com has superior customer service in helping you to register.

  • Parents should have plans to provide the school nurse with an updated private physical using a NYSED Health Exam FormOpens in a new browser tab in order for their child to participate in interscholastic athletics for the 2026-2027 school year.

Please remember to bring a copy of the updated Health Exam Form for your pediatrician to complete. All registration paperwork should be completed and submitted on Arbitersports two weeks in advance of the first official team practice listed above in order for the school nurses to clear your student in time for participation in the first team practice. This can all be done on the Arbitersports website where the forms are available. For those without internet access, appointments can and must be made with the athletic department for in-person sports registration by calling 845-855-4670 at least three weeks prior to the first official practices listed above!

If the  PCSD offers school physicals, the dates and times will be posted on the Athletic Calendar but at this time there are no scheduled PCSD school physicals so parents should have alternate plans to provide a private physical at registration on ARBITERSPORTS.

  • Pawling Central School District Calendar

All dates, meetings, practices, game schedules and athletic events for all sports for the 2026-2027 seasons including optional summer skill sessions supervised by PCSD coaches will be listed on the Pawling CSD Athletic Department Calendar at Pawling Central School District Calendar and can be reached through the District Homepage (Scroll over Calendars and click on Athletics Calendar). You can sign up to create your own account in order to follow/track your child’s team schedule and get instant schedule change notification to your email and/or cell number.

  • The Pawling Central School District Athletic Department will hold an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM in the Pawling High School (Athletic Department-enter around back near Gymnasium). This is an annual, recurring meeting for parents new to PCSD interscholastic athletics for the purpose of answering frequently asked questions about participation in the Pawling CSD athletic programs. This meeting is for the parents/guardians (not student-athletes) of incoming 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students as well as any students new to the PCSD interested in participating in interscholastic athletics. This is just an informational meeting for parents new to PCSD interscholastic athletics; again, attendance is not required.

  • Fall Sports registration for all PHS student athletes will open at ARBITERSPORTS; Arbiter on Friday July 24, 2026 and close on Friday, Aug 7, 2026 in order for the Health Forms to be processed. Registration after August 8 may result in a delayed/late participation date for your child.

Fall Sports registration for all PCMS student athletes will open at Arbiter on Friday August 7, 2026 and close on Friday Aug 21, 2026 in order for the Health Forms to be processed. Registration after August 21 may result in a delayed/late participation date for your child.

    • In order to prevent conflicts in commitments to their child’s varsity teammates and coaches, the families of Pawling Varsity High School student athletes should try to avoid family vacations, jobs and other student-athlete commitments anytime after the summer practice start date of August 24, 2026.
    • The HS Fall seasons begins with the first official practices on Monday, August 24, 2026 and all HS athletes should be in attendance at these first practices.

    • The first day of school for the Pawling CSD is Wednesday, September 9, 2026. (9/6/26)
    • Please be aware that NYS and Sectional Championship tournament schedules will NOT be changed for students taking S.A.T.’s on conflicting dates with sporting events. Students scheduled to take SAT’s on the day of a game or practice will need to make a choice but should always notify their coaches and the Athletic Department well in advance to avoid last minute conflicts.

I hope you find this information helpful, and as always, please feel free to contact me by phone or email at the Interscholastic Athletic Department if you have any questions.

    Sincerely,

  • The interscholastic athletic program at Pawling Central Schools is an integral part of the educational program of the District. The benefits of a comprehensive athletic program provide not only member athletes, but all students, staff, parents and community members’ opportunities for school/community interaction, the development of an involved, active citizenry, building school pride and increased interest and involvement in all school activities.

The philosophy of the Pawling Central School District Athletic Department supports the development of students who are well rounded, productive and contributing members of our community and a democratic society in general.

The experiences gained through team competition in interscholastic athletics provide student/athletes learning opportunities that are complimentary to those learned in the classroom and yet are recognized as unique. These equally important lessons provide completeness to the development of the individual and the entire learning community that cannot be attained in the classroom alone. Students who choose to participate in interscholastic athletics are exposed to opportunities that further develop social, emotional and athletic skills.  Student-Athletes at the interscholastic level are taught to dismiss the concept of entitlement and learn the value of earned play time.  Furthermore, students develop a sense of team work, sportsmanship, self-discipline, dedication, hard work, and respect in addition to a lifestyle promoting physical health and wellness.

It is the goal of the Pawling Central School District Athletic Department to work in partnership with student-athletes, families, and the many community groups to experience quality, productive and enjoyable athletic opportunities.

  • THE INTENT OF THE APP IS TO PROVIDE A PROTOCOL FOR THOSE DISTRICTS THAT CHOOSE TO ALLOW STUDENTS IN GRADES 7 AND 8 TO MOVE UP; OR FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 9-12 TO MOVE DOWN, ALLOWING THEM TO PARTICIPATE SAFELY AT AN APPROPRIATE LEVEL OF COMPETITION BASED UPON PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL READINESS AND ATHLETIC ABILITY RATHER THAN AGE AND GRADE ALONE.

GUIDELINES FOR MIXED COMPETITION ON INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETIC TEAMS

These guidelines are issued to assist schools in the implementation of Section 135.4(c)(7)(ii)(c) of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education which govern interscholastic competition involving members of both sexes on a single school team. The following general information should be noted by the school personnel who are responsible for the implementation of the Regulations: ? The purpose of the regulation is to preserve the health and safety of students while assuring that students of both sexes have opportunity to participate successfully in interschool competition. Athletic opportunity in mixed competition is allowed under the conditions set forth in the regulations for specific sports identified in subclause (2) of section 135.4(c)(7)(ii)(c), as well as all other sports not so identified. ? The regulation provides for students involved in mixed competition to be placed on teams at appropriate levels of competition based upon the individual’s medical history, maturity, physical data, fitness scores and skills. The guidelines are to be used for both junior high school and senior high school programs.

  • Annual Required Health Exams (private physicals accepted*)

Parents should have plans to provide the school nurse with an updated private physical using a NYSED Health Exam Form in order for their child to participate in interscholastic athletics for the 2025-2026 school year.

Please remember to bring a copy of the updated Health Exam Form for your pediatrician to complete. All registration paperwork should be completed and submitted on FamilyID .com two weeks in advance of the first official team practice listed above in order for the school nurses to clear your student in time for participation in the first team practice. This can all be done on the FamilyID .com website where the forms are available. For those without internet access, appointments can and must be made with the athletic department for in-person sports registration by calling 845-855-4670 at least three weeks prior to the first official practices listed above!

If the  PCSD offers school physicals, the dates and times will be posted on the Athletic Calendar but at this time there are no scheduled PCSD school physicals so parents should have alternate plans to provide a private physical at registration at Arbiter - Login

All dates, meetings, practices, game schedules and athletic events for all sports for the 2025-2026 seasons including optional summer skill sessions supervised by PCSD coaches will be listed on the Pawling CSD Athletic Department Calendar at Pawling Central School District Calendar and can be reached through the District Homepage (Scroll over Calendars and click on Athletics Calendar tab).
