Dear Pawling Parents and Staff,

I hope this message finds you well.

As we approach the end of the school year. I am writing to inform you of a schedule adjustment for

students in Pre-K through Grade 8. Due to the fact that our district did not exceed the allotted number

of snow days this year, we are able to provide two-hour early dismissal days during the final week of

school. These days are June 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 26th.

This means that on the designated days during the week, student in Pre-K through Grade 8 will be

released two hours earlier than their regular dismissal time. This adjustment allows us to meet state

requirements while also providing a smoother transition into the summer break for our students and

staff.

Additional details and dismissal times will be shared by your child’s school in the coming weeks.
